Question by : What is an ac condenser and how much does one cost?
We are looking to buy a car and someone told me that the ac condenser needs to be fixed/replaced. What is an ac condenser and do you need to have one? If so, how much would it cost to get it fixed/replaced?
Um, thank you very much! I was just in a hurry to ask this question. I don’t have the car yet I am just looking to buy it. Rude much??? Please no more rude comments…and fyi it’s an 2005 Chevy Malibu.

Best answer:

Answer by straight shooter
It is the “radiator” in front of the engines radiator. No idea of the cost due to not knowing what vehicle you have.

Why don’t people ever give enough information.

Question by Rii: Looking for a USB condenser microphone for voice acting?
Hi, I’m about to buy my first USB condenser mic (yay Christmas money! ) but I have no idea which is the best one to get. A lot of the reviews I read are contradictory. I use Windows 7, and my budget is $ 80. :/
What do you think about Amazon’s choices?

Also, my house is prone to echos. What can I do to prevent too much from leaking into my recordings?

Best answer:

Answer by audioloops
I’d go for the MXL 990-USB, great mic http://bit.ly/g9ReCK
Try recording in a smaller room, with some kind of padding to combat echo reflections.

Question by brandon m: What chord do i need to hook up a condenser mic to an audio interface.?
I just recently bought a Creative E-mu usb 404 audio interface and a perception 120 condenser mic. What cable do i need to buy to hook both of them up to it. The audio interface has 2 Mic/hi-z/line inputs. 2 S/pdif, a midi in and out and a speaker output. any help?

Best answer:

Answer by audiomalone
You need a 3 pin XLR Balanced Microphone cable (cord). And you’ll need to turn the Phantom Power on on the interface. Any decent pro-audio shop should be able to sell you one. Go for a good quality one – don’t buy cheap.

Best answer:

Answer by Saul
I’ve had decent experiences with the Samson CO1. Like many lower-priced “made in china” condenser mics, it has more treble response than bass response, but I found that recording with a dynamic mic at the same time, ie with a Shure SM57 or ’58, then blending the results really helped balance that out.
